Jane’s Due Process is excited about the challenge against many of Texas’s most restrictive and burdensome abortions laws filed earlier this month, known as The People’s Lawsuit. This lawsuit directly effects the clients that we serve, because it seeks to eliminate Texas’s forced parental involvement law, by showing that it imposes an undue burden on abortion access for young people.
We talked to current and former clients about the lawsuit, and they were equally enthusiastic about the possibility of Texas’s forced parental involvement law being ruled unconstitutional.
