It’s been too long, Houston, and we want to see you! A lot has happened since the last time we hung out with our Houston supporters — the biggest being that we’ve started helping Texas teens travel out of state for abortion care. Come celebrate the fact that we’re still here, still funding abortion for young people, and still expanding access to birth control and sexual health information for teens in a state with so many barriers.
We’ll be joined by Olivia Julianna, the young activist who raised over $2 million for abortion funds last year. Olivia uses social media to engage young people in the fight for abortion rights. If you want to know where the young people fighting for reproductive rights are, come meet Olivia. We’ll also catch you up on everything Jane’s Due Process is up to and how your support is impacting young people in Texas.
We’ll also be joined by Dr. Bhavik Kumar, a family medicine provider providing abortion and trans care. Dr. Kumar provided abortions in Texas prior to the abortion ban, and he’s part of the movement of physicians fighting back against abortion restrictions and attacks on trans youth.
