Jane’s Due Process condemns the violent actions of ICE and stands in solidarity with the protestors in Minneapolis and across this country — loud, proud, and unafraid. We join the rising chorus of voices demanding nothing less than the abolition of ICE.
Reproductive Justice is only attainable when we can choose whether or not to have children and to raise those children in safe and healthy communities. This can’t happen when our immigrant neighbors live in constant fear. When families are torn apart. When people are killed for standing up for what’s right.
Like so many of you, we were shaken to our core by the senseless killing of Alex Pretti this past weekend. As Texans who have seen firsthand the fear, brutality, and corruption that ICE has brought into communities for far too long, we refuse to stay silent. This moment calls for nationwide organizing, for protecting one another, and for standing strong in the face of injustice. We will not be passive. We will not be quiet. We will fight. And we will demand justice.
