The overturning of Roe and any abortion bans that Texas may pass does not affect your right to easily access emergency contraception (aka EC or sometimes referred to by its brand name Plan B) in Texas. For this reason, we’ve compiled a list of TX organizations that will deliver free plan b to your door or make it available so you can pick it up! These services have no age requirement!

If there isn’t an organization near you please text our hotline at 866-999-5263 for help finding your nearest Title X clinic or look it up here to get free emergency contraception (or other reproductive health services, parental consent NOT required).

If you don’t need EC right now and live in Texas, you can request a kit to be shipped to you from Every Body Texas. You can fill out this form and they will mail it to you.

Another option, if you do not live in a city that has a free emergency contraception distribution program, is to purchase it online at Amazon or at your nearest pharmacy or grocery store. The brand, Plan B can be expensive (around $40-$60), so check out the generic brands like My Choice or My Way, which are cheaper online, around $7.99, and just as effective! You can also purchase it at your neighborhood Costco (no Costco card is required to use the pharmacy) for $8.99 or HEB for $20. EC is available over the counter, without a prescription, to people of any age or gender.
