Hey young parents and caregivers — we see you, we celebrate you, and Jane’s Due Process & TEA Fund have got something just for you!
We believe young parents and caregivers deserve spaces where they are celebrated and can receive real, non-judgmental support and resources — spaces that empower them to navigate caregiving and parenthood with confidence. In a world that often gaslights young people, strips them of their agency, and leaves them isolated, we are committed to build something completely different.
That’s why we’re excited to invite you to The Joy of Parenting: an event designed to uplift young families, connect you with essential resources, and create a joyful space where you feel seen, heard, advocated for, and supported.
Being a young caregiver comes with its challenges and emotions, but with the right intention and community, it can come with so much joy — and that’s what we’re centering at this event.
We welcome families of all shapes and sizes — whether you’re a mom, dad, parent or co-parent, a grandparent, a big sibling, an auntie or uncle, or anyone who cares for the young ones in your family, this event, resources and community are for you!
Come enjoy yourself — you deserve to celebrate, and be celebrated.
At The Joy of Parenting, you can:

✨ Meet amazing local orgs that genuinely care about you and your journey
✨ Have fun with games, raffles, and kid-friendly activities
✨ Grab some free snacks and refreshments
✨ Find yourself in a joyful space where you can celebrate your role in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment
What to Expect:
This free event will feature:
Fun & Interactive Activities – A DJ to set the vibe, trivia games, raffles, and engaging discussions
Snacks & Refreshments – Because learning and connecting is better with good food
Resource Fair – Local organizations providing information on parenting, reproductive health, and advocacy
Diapers & Wipes – Free for all caregivers who attend (must fill out RSVP form)
Kids’ Activities – A family-friendly event where young caregivers can bring their little ones

Oye padres jóvenes y personas cuidadores: los vemos, los celebramos y ¡tenemos algo solo para ustedes! Junto a nuestrxs compañerxs de TEA Fund.
Creemos que los padres y cuidadores jóvenes merecen espacios donde sean celebrados y puedan recibir apoyo y recursos reales y sin prejuicios — espacios que les empoderen para navegar la crianza con confianza. En un mundo que a menudo manipula a los jóvenes, los despoja de su autonomía y los deja aislados, ¡estamos comprometidos a construir algo completamente diferente!
Por eso estamos emocionados de invitarlo a The Joy of Parenting/La Alegria De Ser Padres: un evento diseñado para animar a los padres y cuidadores jóvenes, conectarlos con recursos esenciales y crear un espacio alegre donde se sientan vistos, escuchados, defendidos y apoyados.
Ser un cuidador joven conlleva desafíos y emociones, pero con la intención y la comunidad adecuadas puede traer consigo mucha alegría, y eso es en lo que nos centraremos en este evento.
¡Damos la bienvenida a familias de todas las formas y tamaños! Ya seas mamá, papá, progenitore, co-criador, abuelita, abuelito, hermanx mayor, tía, tío, o cualquier persona que cuida de les más pequeñes de tu familia, este evento, estos recursos y esta comunidad son para ti. Ven a disfrutar — mereces celebrar y que te celebren.
En La Alegria De Ser Padres, puedes:

✨ Conocer organizaciones locales que realmente se preocupan por ti y tu trayectoria

✨ Encontrarte en un espacio alegre donde puedas celebrar tu trayectoria en un ambiente acogedor y sin prejuicios.
Qué Puedes Esperar
Este evento gratuito contará con:
Actividades Divertidas e Interactivas – un DJ divertide para crear el ambiente, juegos de trivia, rifas y discusiones interesantes.
Merienda y Refrescos – ¡Porque aprender y conectar es mejor con buena comida!
Feria de Recursos – organizaciones locales que brindan información sobre crianza de los hijos, salud reproductiva y defensa.
Pañales y Toallitas Gratis – Para todas las personas cuidadores que asistan (deben completar el formulario RSVP)
Actividades para niñes – Un evento familiar donde cuidadores jóvenes pueden traer a sus pequeñes
