Jane’s Due Process got started in 2001 with a single mission: to help Texas teens seek abortion access by providing free legal representation to young people under 18 as they went through the judicial bypass process. Since then, we have tens of thousands of teens despite an ever more complicated abortion access landscape. We’ve also expanded our programs to help more teens navigate all the ways our state tries to make reproductive healthcare access impossible.
Here’s what your gift to Jane’s Due Process makes possible:
- Support for Texas teens traveling out of state for abortion care
- Free emergency contraception for teens in various Texas communities
- Young Texans advocating for their own reproductive rights and becoming the next generation of leaders in our movement
- Information for teens seeking birth control despite barriers
- Our new Empowering Young Parents program for pregnant teens continuing their pregnancies
Over 6,000 Texas teens have received information, emotional support, or direct material assistance from Jane’s Due Process in 2024.
And we’ve got big plans for 2025, including working for teens reproductive rights during the Texas legislative session in collaboration with other Texas abortion funds and advocacy organizations, building our new Empowering Young Parents program as part of our commitment to reproductive justice, expanding our emergency contraception pickup locations, and supporting any Texas teens who call us seeking support for abortion access.
When you support Jane’s Due Process today, you support Texas teens accessing abortion, birth control, reproductive and sexual healthcare information, and parenting support.
When young people call, together we answer.
